Andra Jazz is one of Sweden’s most respected record stores, known among collectors for rare jazz vinyl and its legacy as part of Stockholm’s jazz scene.
When Sven Dolling took over ownership, he needed a new website to give the store a professional digital presence. A complete design sketch already existed in InDesign, and my role was to bring it online.
The goal was not e-commerce but a simple, informative site that could represent the store, showcase interviews and reviews, and improve its visibility on Google.

Context
Andra Jazz is a record store in Stockholm, owned by Sven Dolling. The shop is a cornerstone for collectors, selling rare records in-store and through Discogs. The website was launched in January 2024 with the primary purpose of providing store information, press coverage, and a professional online presence, while all sales continue physically or via Discogs.
Scope
My role was to take the provided branding, logotype, and copy, and implement the design in Webflow. I adapted the InDesign sketch into a fully responsive site, refined typography, and added light animations to bring the layout to life. The focus was on creating a smooth user experience that stayed true to the original vision while working across all devices.

Mission
The mission was to translate an existing InDesign layout into a responsive and functional website. It had to reflect Andra Jazz’s reputation as a trusted destination for collectors while remaining timeless, minimal, and easy to navigate.
Challenge
The main challenge was adapting a print-based design to the web. I had to make decisions on how the layout should behave across smaller devices and how subtle animation could be used to add rhythm without breaking the clean structure.
Outcome
The project was delivered in under a month and launched in January 2024. The result is a simple and professional website that aligns with Andra Jazz’s identity while functioning seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Feedback from Sven was very positive, and the site has since given Andra Jazz a stronger online presence to support its continued legacy.
